Polycarbonate or Safety Glass is used in our roof systems (K2 Roof system). Tinted and self cleaning glass also available.

All windows and doors are made using the Veka fully sculptured system unless another Veka profile is preferred. We also try to get all the glass up to an “ A “ Rated window rating (minimum at the moment (Feb 2011) is a “ C “ Rated window rating ).

Commercial Projects
Large commercial projects have also been undertaken by us, notably  2 large blocks of flats in Portsmouth for a Kent based company who were doing the work for the James Butcher Housing Association. The first to be done on behalf of DWL was Nutfield Court ( all the casement and bay windows and the Fascia, Soffits and Gutting ). The second was Foundry Court in Queens street , Portsmouth, again the work comprising of the replacement windows and new Fascia and Guttering, Soffits were painted.

What does EPDM mean ?
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer.

Is Firestone EPDM rubber suitable for my roof ?
Almost certainly... there are very few instances when Firestone EPDM cannot be installed.

Can I walk on my new roof ?
Yes it is designed for maintenance access.

Is Firestone EPDM expensive ?
No. Despite its considerable technical and lifespan advantages, Firestone EPDM compares very well indeed to traditional materials.

Is your work guaranteed ?
Your new roof will come with a 20 year guarantee from First Call, the first 10 years will be insurance backed covered by NetworkVeka and a 20 year membrane warranty from Firestone.

The product manufacturers have a very strong branding that has taken years to establish. Consequently, only approved installers that have proven they can maintain the high standards required are allowed to use the materials and be recognised as an authorised contractor.
